Planning Engineer

**Planning Engineer** **Required: Civil Planning Engineer to work in contracting company, Abu Dhabi – UAE.** We at LAZOURDY is looking for a Planning Engineer to work with us. The rightful candidate must be from civil engineering background and handled similar project planning tasks related to civil engineering domain **Qualifications:** * **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering/ with 3 - 5 years’ experience. * **Experience:** Minimum of 3 years of experience in project planning and scheduling. * **Experience:** Proficiency in project management software, Primavera P6. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop and maintain detailed project Baseline Program, including work breakdown structures (WBS), activities, and milestones. * Utilize project management software, Primavera P6, to create and update schedules. * Prepare and update Project Weekly & Monthly progress reports, including S-curves, Gantt charts, and other visual aids. · Conduct regular meetings with project teams to review progress and address scheduling issues. · Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule and identify potential delays or deviations. · Ensure that schedule is based on project execution strategy and schedule milestones are achievable · Develop S Curve and Manpower histogram. **Skills:** · Strong communication and interpersonal skills. · Ability to work effectively in a team environment. · Understands and applies engineering, procurement, and construction terminology, concepts, and relationships Develops and maintains critical path logic networks and bar charts applying this information · Knowledge of cost control is an advantage · **Job Type:** Permanent – Full Time.
