Planning Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer with a strong background in joinery and interior fit-out projects in the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery of joinery works. **Key Responsibilities:** * Prepare detailed project schedules for joinery and fit-out works using planning software such as **Primavera P6** or **Microsoft Project** * Develop baseline programs, work breakdown structures (WBS), and resource-loaded schedules * Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly * Coordinate with production, design, procurement, and site teams * Track materials, manpower, and fabrication timelines for joinery works * Identify delays, risks, and critical path activities, and propose recovery plans * Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and look-ahead schedules * Ensure alignment with project deadlines and client requirements * Review subcontractor schedules and performance * Support project managers in planning and execution strategies **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field * Minimum **5 years of experience in UAE**, specifically in joinery or interior fit-out projects * Strong knowledge of joinery production processes (factory & site installation) * Proficiency in **Primavera P6** and/or **Microsoft Project** * Good understanding of UAE construction standards and project workflows * Strong analytical, coordination, and reporting skills * Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines **Preferred Skills:** * Experience in high-end residential, commercial, or hospitality fit-out projects * Familiarity with AutoCAD drawings and shop drawings * Knowledge of procurement and supply chain in joinery works Work Location: In person
