Planning Engineer

**Key Responsibilities:** * Develop, monitor, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project. * Prepare baseline schedules, recovery programs, and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions. * Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to collect project data and update schedules. * Analyze project progress, identify potential delays, and recommend corrective actions. * Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for clients and management. * Monitor compliance with project timelines, contractual milestones, and resource plans. * Attend project meetings and provide planning updates, reports, and presentations. * Support cost loading, resource planning, and earned value management activities. * Review subcontractor schedules and integrate them into the master project schedule. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. * Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning within the civil construction industry. * Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project. * Strong understanding of project lifecycle phases, including design, procurement, construction, and handover. * Knowledge of FIDIC contracts and delay analysis methodologies. * Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines. * PMP certification or other relevant planning certification is an advantage. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience working on construction projects in the UAE.
