Planning Engineer – ELV Systems (ADNOC Projects)

**Role Summary** We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to join our project delivery team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules across our ELV and Oil & Gas project portfolio, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to project stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop, maintain, and update project baseline schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project * Prepare and issue weekly and monthly progress reports, including S-curves, histograms, and earned value analysis * Monitor project progress against baseline and identify delays, deviations, and critical path impacts * Conduct schedule variance analysis and develop schedule recovery plans in coordination with project managers * Support risk identification, mitigation planning, and contingency scheduling * Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and procurement to capture accurate progress data * Prepare and present project status reports and dashboards for senior management and clients * Ensure planning deliverables comply with client and ADNOC reporting requirements and formats * Participate in project kick-off meetings, planning workshops, and progress review meetings **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering * Minimum 4–5 years of experience in project planning within the Oil & Gas or ELV industry * Proficiency in Primavera P6 /MS Project — mandatory * Strong understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM), critical path method, and schedule analysis * Experience in developing baseline schedules, lookahead schedules, and recovery programmes * Excellent coordination skills with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors * Strong understanding of project lifecycle in industrial and ELV environments * Excellent reporting, documentation, and communication skills * Familiarity with HSE requirements in industrial project environments **✅ Preferred (Highly Advantageous)** Candidates with direct experience planning ADNOC projects or equivalent large-scale industrial or Oil & Gas projects in the UAE will be strongly preferred. **Mandatory Condition** Applicants must currently hold the title of Planning Engineer and be actively working in a planning engineering role.
