Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer – Façade, Aluminum & Steel Works to develop, monitor, and control detailed project schedules across fabrication and installation activities. The ideal candidate will have strong planning expertise combined with practical exposure to fabrication and site installation works in façade, aluminum, or steel/metal construction environments. This role requires close coordination with project managers, design, production, procurement, and site teams to ensure successful project execution. Key Responsibilities * Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project for façade, aluminum, and steel fabrication and installation works. * Prepare baseline programs, work breakdown structures (WBS), and resource-loaded schedules. * Monitor project progress and update schedules based on actual site and factory performance. * Identify critical path activities, delays, and potential risks, and propose recovery plans. * Coordinate with fabrication teams, site engineers, design, procurement, and subcontractors for schedule alignment. * Track production and installation progress across workshops and project sites. * Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and planning dashboards for management. * Support preparation of Extension of Time (EOT) claims and delay analysis documentation. * Assist in tender planning, bid programs, and pre-contract scheduling activities. * Ensure project schedules comply with contract milestones and client requirements. Qualifications & Experience * Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or related field. * 3–8 years of experience in planning roles within façade, aluminum, steel, or metal construction projects. * Experience in both fabrication and installation environments is highly preferred. * preferred knowledge of façade systems including curtain wall (unitized & stick), cladding, glazing, and steel/metal works. * Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and advanced Excel. * Experience working in UAE construction environments with consultants and contractors. * Understanding of production/fabrication workflows is an added advantage. * Knowledge of FIDIC contracts and delay analysis is preferred. * Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills. * UAE experience is mandatory; exposure to industrial areas like Al Quoz is an advantage.
