**Planning Engineer – Roads & Bridges** **Abu Dhabi** **Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced **Planning Engineer** to develop, monitor, and control project schedules for Roads & Bridges infrastructure projects. The role is responsible for ensuring timely project delivery through effective planning, progress tracking, delay analysis, and coordination with project stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using planning software (Primavera P6 / MS Project) * Prepare baseline programs, recovery schedules, and look-ahead plans for Roads & Bridges projects * Monitor project progress and update schedules based on site inputs and actual performance * Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to track progress against milestones * Perform critical path analysis, delay analysis, and identify potential risks to project timelines * Support preparation of weekly, monthly, and management progress reports * Assist in resource planning, manpower allocation, and productivity analysis * Evaluate subcontractor schedules and ensure alignment with overall project program * Support claims, extension of time (EOT), and contractual delay analysis where required * Identify deviations and propose corrective actions to ensure timely project delivery **Qualifications & Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline * Minimum **5–10 years of experience** in planning and scheduling within construction projects * Strong experience in Roads & Bridges or large infrastructure projects in UAE/GCC * Proficiency in **Primavera P6** and/or MS Project is mandatory * Knowledge of project controls, construction methodologies, and sequencing * Experience in delay analysis, EOT claims, and baseline development * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and coordination abilities * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities **Key Competencies:** * Project Scheduling & Planning * Primavera P6 Expertise * Progress Monitoring & Reporting * Delay & Risk Analysis * Stakeholder Coordination * Analytical Thinking Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
