**Planning Manager – Roads & Bridges** **Abu Dhabi** **Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced **Planning Manager** to lead the planning and project controls function for Roads & Bridges infrastructure projects. The role is responsible for establishing robust project schedules, ensuring effective progress monitoring, managing delays, and supporting successful project delivery across multiple large-scale civil works. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead the development, implementation, and management of project planning and scheduling systems for Roads & Bridges projects * Oversee preparation of baseline programs, detailed construction schedules, and recovery plans * Manage and mentor a team of planning engineers across multiple project sites * Ensure accurate progress tracking, schedule updates, and performance reporting * Conduct critical path analysis, delay analysis, and identify project risks impacting timelines * Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, and commercial departments to align planning activities * Review and validate subcontractor schedules and ensure integration into master program * Support claims management including Extension of Time (EOT) analysis and dispute resolution * Prepare executive-level dashboards, reports, and progress presentations for senior management * Ensure compliance with contractual planning requirements and project controls standards * Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and tools **Qualifications & Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline (Master’s preferred) * Minimum **12–18 years of experience** in planning and project controls within construction * Strong experience in Roads & Bridges or large-scale infrastructure projects in UAE/GCC * Proven leadership experience managing planning teams * Expert proficiency in **Primavera P6** (mandatory) and MS Project * Strong knowledge of delay analysis, EOT claims, and construction methodologies * Experience in multi-project planning and portfolio management * Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills * Excellent communication and reporting abilities **Key Competencies:** * Strategic Project Planning * Team Leadership & Management * Primavera P6 Expertise * Delay & Risk Analysis * Contractual Awareness (EOT / Claims) * Stakeholder Communicatio Pay: AED26,000.00 - AED30,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
