Plumbing Engineer

**Job Title: Plumbing Engineer – UAE (Building Projects)** **Job Overview:** We are seeking a highly capable Plumbing Engineer with proven UAE experience in building construction projects. The ideal candidate will manage the full lifecycle of plumbing systems, including design coordination, site execution, and testing. This role covers water supply, drainage, stormwater, and firefighting support systems, ensuring all work meets project requirements and authority regulations from design stage through to handover. **Key Responsibilities:** **Design & Engineering:** * Review and validate plumbing designs for water supply, drainage, and stormwater systems * Perform hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, and system optimization * Coordinate closely with HVAC, Electrical, and Structural teams to ensure seamless integration * Study and interpret drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications * Ensure all designs comply with UAE codes, standards, and authority guidelines **Project Execution & Coordination:** * Prepare, review, and finalize shop drawings and as-built drawings * Manage material submittals, approvals, and technical documentation * Supervise site installation activities and ensure adherence to QA/QC standards * Coordinate daily with MEP and civil teams to maintain project progress * Liaise with authorities such as DM, DEWA, and DCD for approvals and inspections * Address consultant comments and ensure timely closure of technical queries **Testing & Commissioning:** * Oversee testing and commissioning of plumbing systems * Ensure proper functionality and compliance before project handover * Support final inspections and documentation submission **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering * 6–8 years of relevant experience, with mandatory UAE exposure * Strong experience in mid to high-rise building projects (G+10 and above preferred) * In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and installation practices * Familiarity with local authority regulations and approval processes **Technical Skills:** * Proficient in AutoCAD for drawing review and coordination * Good working knowledge of MS Office tools * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents **Preferred Candidate Profile:** * Experience working with Design & Build MEP contractors * Strong coordination and communication skills across disciplines * Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines * Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy * Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment **What We Offer:** * Opportunity to work on large-scale residential and commercial projects * Exposure to full MEP project lifecycle from design to handover * Collaborative and performance-driven work environment * Career growth within a dynamic engineering team **Job Type:** Full-time Pay: From AED6,000.00 per month Experience: * UAE: 5 years (Required) Work Location: In person
