Procurement Executive

**Job Title: Procurement Executive** **Location: Dubai, UAE** **Employment Type:** **Key Responsibilities:** * Assist in preparation of procurement plans and schedules according to project requirements. * Issue RFQs and request quotations from approved vendors for materials, equipment, and services. * Evaluate vendor quotations based on price, quality, lead time, and technical specifications, and submit recommendations for approval. * Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and related procurement documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. * Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services, coordinating closely with site teams. * Monitor and track deliveries, maintaining records of received and pending items. * Ensure proper documentation of supplier agreements, approvals, and correspondence for reporting and auditing purposes. * Coordinate with project teams and site engineers to anticipate material requirements and avoid delays. * Assist in monitoring procurement budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and reporting variances to management. * Maintain vendor database and assist in vendor evaluation and performance tracking. * Verify quality, quantity, and specifications of delivered materials and escalate discrepancies to the Procurement Manager. * Ensure compliance with company policies, UAE laws, and HSE standards in all procurement activities. * Support the procurement team in continuous improvement of processes, workflows, and reporting mechanisms. * Assist in preparing reports on procurement status, pending deliveries, and vendor performance for management review. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain, or Masters in Business. * 10 or more years of experience in procurement within the UAE construction industry, with at least 2 years in a team leading role.
