Procurement Manager

**Job Title: Procurement Manager** **Location: Dubai, UAE** **Employment Type: Full-Time** **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures for all construction materials, equipment, and services. * Prepare procurement plans and schedules in alignment with project timelines and requirements. * Identify, evaluate, and prequalify suppliers based on technical capability, financial stability, and past performance. * Issue RFQs, tenders, and purchase orders for materials, equipment, and services, ensuring compliance with project specifications. * Review and analyze vendor quotations, perform technical and commercial evaluation, and make recommendations for management approval. * Negotiate contracts, pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms with vendors to optimize cost, quality, and schedule. * Monitor vendor performance, including quality, timely delivery, and service, and maintain detailed vendor performance records. * Coordinate logistics, customs clearance, and transportation of materials and equipment to ensure on-time delivery to sites. * Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, purchase orders, approvals, and correspondence for reporting and audit purposes. * Implement cost control measures, track procurement budgets, and identify opportunities for savings and operational efficiency. * Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to forecast material and equipment requirements and highlight critical items. * Conduct inspections and verifications of delivered materials and equipment to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards. * Ensure procurement operations comply with company policies, UAE laws, HSE regulations, and project quality requirements. * Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the procurement team, enhancing efficiency and technical competency. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain, or Master’s in Business. * 18 or more years of experience in procurement within the UAE construction industry, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
