**We’re Hiring: Procurement Officer** **Company: Project Services Co. Qatar W.L.L.** Project Services Co. Qatar W.L.L. is a leading construction company in Qatar, and we are seeking an experienced **Procurement Officer** to join our dynamic team on-site. **Key Responsibilities:** * Source and negotiate with suppliers of cement, steel, aggregates, timber, and other construction & building materials with technical background is an advantage. * Ensure timely procurement to meet project schedules. * Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships. * Monitor market trends, pricing, and availability of materials. * Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and documentation in compliance with company policies. * Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to forecast material needs. * Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 5-8 years of procurement experience in construction or building materials & steel structures industries. * Strong negotiation and communication skills. * Knowledge of local suppliers. * Proficiency in MS Office. * Ready to join immediately. **Skills** * Analytical thinking and attention to detail. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Strong understanding of construction industry standards. * Problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
