Procurement Officer-Construction

Job description: Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Procurement Officer with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in sourcing and purchasing construction building materials. The ideal candidate will manage suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of materials for construction projects. Key Responsibilities: Source and procure construction building materials in line with project needs Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers and vendors Negotiate prices, contracts, and delivery terms Monitor market trends, pricing, and material availability Prepare purchase orders and track deliveries to project sites Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams Ensure compliance with company procurement policies Maintain accurate procurement records and reports Requirements: 5–7 years of proven experience in procurement of construction or building materials Strong knowledge of construction materials, suppliers, and market pricing Proven negotiation, sourcing, and vendor management skills Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills Proficient in MS Office and procurement/ERP systems Degree or diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or MEP preferred) Job Type: Full-time Application Question(s): * Are you currently available in UAE?
