Join us. **Job Description** We're looking for an experienced and visionary Project Director to lead a PMC Data Center project in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this delivery role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex data center projects while managing a high-performing team and ensuring operational excellence. The ideal candidate will combine strong project management expertise with deep knowledge of data center infrastructure and a proven ability to drive results in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. * Direct the planning, execution, and successful delivery of large-scale data center projects from conception through completion, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and timelines * Provide strategic leadership and vision for the PMC data center operations, establishing clear goals and performance metrics * Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines with precision, optimizing allocation to maximize efficiency and minimize costs * Lead and mentor a diverse team of project managers, engineers, and technical staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement * Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks proactively, developing contingency plans to ensure project continuity * Oversee stakeholder communication and relationship management, providing regular updates to executive leadership and key partners * Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies across all data center operations * Monitor project performance metrics and KPIs, conducting regular reviews and implementing corrective actions as needed * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize infrastructure planning, capacity management, and technology implementation * Drive innovation and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery **Qualifications** * Minimum 20 + years of progressive project management experience, with at least 5+ years in data center, infrastructure, or facilities management * Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex, multi-million dollar projects * Strong leadership experience managing teams of 10+ professionals across multiple disciplines * Demonstrated expertise in budget management, financial forecasting, and resource optimization * Advanced knowledge of data center operations, architecture, and infrastructure management * Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches) * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail * Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities * Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation * Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and IT service management best practices * Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and modern data center technologies * Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or equivalent certification (preferred) * Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously * Proficiency with project management tools and software platforms **Additional Information** **About AECOM** AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
