Project Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Site Engineer with hands-on experience in acoustics and interior fit out works. The ideal candidate will support project delivery from site coordination through to handover, ensuring that acoustic and finishes specifications are precisely executed. This role suits an early-career professional eager to grow within a dynamic construction environment. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** **Site Execution & Coordination** * Oversee and supervise day-to-day site activities related to interior fit out and acoustic installations. * Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure timely and quality delivery. * Review and interpret construction drawings, acoustic specifications, and shop drawings. * Ensure all acoustic treatments (wall panels, ceilings, floating floors, isolation systems) are installed to specifications. **Quality Assurance** * Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with project drawings and acoustic design requirements. * Maintain quality control records, site diaries, and material inspection logs. * Identify and escalate non-conformances and implement corrective actions promptly. **Documentation & Reporting** * Prepare daily and weekly site reports for the Project Manager. * Track material deliveries, RFIs, and site instruction logs. * Assist in preparing as-built documentation and handover packages. **Health, Safety & Environment** * Enforce HSE standards and site safety protocols at all times. * Participate in toolbox talks and ensure the team adheres to method statements and risk assessments. **QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field. * 1 – 3 years of site experience in interior fit out projects; exposure to acoustic works is highly desirable. * Familiarity with acoustic materials and systems: STC/OITC ratings, resilient channels, mass-loaded vinyl, acoustic sealants. * Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. * Working knowledge of AutoCAD; BIM familiarity is a plus. * Strong understanding of construction sequencing and coordination within live fit out environments. **SKILLS & COMPETENCIES** * Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving ability. * Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with multicultural teams. * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * Self-motivated with a proactive approach to site challenges. * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project).
