Project Engineer – Fit Out Commercial Projects

Patina Interiors, one of the leading Interior Company in Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced and results driven Project Engineer to join our Fit Out and Interior Design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing commercial interior fit out projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial fit-out processes, technical expertise, and exceptional leadership and coordination skills. * Review project scope, drawings, specifications, and BOQs to ensure feasibility, accuracy, and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements * Supervise and manage daily site activities for interior fit-out works, including civil, finishes, joinery, and coordination with MEP trades. * Supervise fit-out activities and monitor subcontractor performance to ensure quality standards, productivity, and adherence to the approved program. * Oversee the execution of civil engineering aspects of fit-out projects, ensuring works are completed within approved timelines and budget constraints. * Liaise directly with clients, consultants, landlords, and sub-contractors to ensure project objectives and client expectations are met. * Monitor daily site progress and ensure activities proceed as per the approved construction schedule. * Oversee overall project activities and site operations to ensure smooth and efficient execution. * Conduct regular site inspections to ensure structural integrity, quality standards, approved design specifications, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. * Identify, coordinate, and proactively resolve technical and site-related issues to avoid delays and rework. * Coordinate closely with design, procurement, and construction teams to ensure timely material delivery, proper documentation, and closure of snag lists. * Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements and expectations are met. * Attend project and coordination meetings, provide clear progress updates, and contribute to technical discussions and solutions. * Prepare, maintain, and submit daily and weekly site reports, progress reports, inspection requests, and compliance documentation. * Prepare and issue weekly progress reports to the client. * Report daily and weekly site updates to the Managing Director. * Support testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover activities. **Requirements:** * Proven experience in civil engineering with a strong emphasis on supervision within the interior design or construction industry. * Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. * Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with experience in client management and negotiation. * Proficiency in civil engineering and familiarity with project management software * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Pay: From AED4,500.00 per month Work Location: In person
