Project Engineer (Mid to High Rise Building Construction)

**Key Responsibilities** * Lead and oversee on-site civil and architectural finishing works, ensuring alignment with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. * Support MEP works coordination on-site, liaising with specialist subcontractors and the MEP engineering team to resolve interface issues and ensure smooth integration. * Report regularly to the Construction Manager and Project Manager on site progress, risks, constraints, and look-ahead schedules. * Monitor construction progress against baseline programme; identify deviations and proactively recommend corrective actions. * Review and process sub-contractor submittals, RFIs, method statements, and inspection and test plans (ITPs), ensuring timely responses and quality compliance. * Conduct and coordinate site inspections, quality audits, and hold point sign-offs with contractors, consultants, and the client's team. * Maintain up-to-date site records, daily reports, NCRs, and snagging logs using the project's PMIS platform (e.g. Procore or equivalent). * Facilitate and chair site coordination meetings; prepare minutes of meetings (MOMs) and track action items through to closure. * Identify and flag scope gaps, design conflicts, and interdisciplinary coordination issues; coordinate resolution across disciplines. * Assist in preparation of project progress reports, payment certificates review, and variation assessments. * Enforce site HSE requirements in coordination with the project's safety team. **Experience and Qualifications:** * Degree in Civil/Architecture/Construction Engineering from recognised university * 5 years post-degree relevant experience as Project Engineer at Contractor Firms * Experience in the mid to high-rise buildings sector in UAE. (Dubai Preferred) * Knowledge of PMIS / Digital Data Management Solutions like Procore or similar is required * Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills * Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills * Knowledge of UAE real estate and construction regulations and practices * Eligibility to work in the UAE (employment visa will be provided) **About Projenco Global** Projenco is a Dubai-based firm that provides comprehensive advisory and delivery partner services to commercial and institutional developers.
