Project Engineer - Swimming Pool Experience

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution * Assist in planning, scheduling, and execution of landscaping, swimming pool, and water feature projects. * Support Project Manager in coordinating all site activities from mobilization to project completion. * Ensure works are executed in line with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements. * Monitor daily site progress and report updates to management. Site Execution & Supervision * Supervise site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of works. * Monitor civil, MEP, and landscaping activities on site and ensure proper coordination between all disciplines. * Ensure manpower, materials, and equipment are efficiently utilized on site. * Identify site issues and coordinate timely solutions to avoid delays. Technical Coordination * Review drawings, material submittals, method statements, and project specifications. * Coordinate with consultants, architects, landscape designers, and MEP teams. * Ensure proper integration of civil, MEP, irrigation, and landscaping works. * Resolve technical issues on site and provide engineering support as required. Swimming Pool & Water Feature Works * Support execution of swimming pools, pump rooms, filtration systems, and water features. * Coordinate installation of pumps, piping, lighting, drainage, and automation systems with MEP teams. * Ensure proper execution of fountains, waterfalls, splash pads, and decorative water systems. * Assist in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of systems. Landscaping & Civil Works * Supervise hardscape and softscape works including paving, kerbstones, pathways, and retaining structures. * Ensure proper site grading, excavation, leveling, and drainage implementation. * Coordinate irrigation sleeves, underground services, and landscape infrastructure works. * Ensure compliance with approved landscape designs and specifications. Quality Control & Compliance * Ensure all works are carried out as per approved drawings and UAE authority standards. * Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks. * Maintain high standards of workmanship across all project activities. * Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company safety policies. Cost Control & Procurement Support * Assist in preparing material requirements, BOQs, and quantity take-offs. * Coordinate with procurement team for timely delivery of materials. * Monitor material usage and support cost control efforts. * Help evaluate subcontractor performance and site productivity. Reporting & Documentation * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. * Maintain site records including inspections, approvals, and project documentation. * Track project progress, risks, and delays and escalate issues where necessary. * Support preparation of as-built drawings and handover documentation. Requirements * Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. * 3–6 years of UAE experience in landscaping, swimming pools, or water feature projects. * Strong knowledge of site execution, construction sequencing, and coordination. * Understanding of civil, MEP, irrigation, and landscape systems. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications. * Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills. * Good knowledge of UAE authority regulations and construction practices. * Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office preferred. * UAE Driving License is an advantage.
