Project Engineer - Swimming Pool Experience

Key ResponsibilitiesMEP Planning & Execution * Manage all MEP works related to landscaping, swimming pools, and water feature projects. * Ensure execution of systems in line with approved drawings, specifications, and UAE authority requirements. * Coordinate MEP activities from mobilization to final project handover. * Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of MEP works. Swimming Pool & Water Feature Systems * Oversee installation of pool systems including pumps, filters, piping networks, drainage systems, lighting, chlorination, and dosing systems. * Supervise water features such as fountains, waterfalls, splash pads, and decorative water systems. * Ensure proper functioning of hydraulic systems, circulation systems, balancing tanks, and filtration systems. * Handle testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of all pool and water feature systems. * Coordinate preventive maintenance requirements and technical support during project closeout. Landscaping MEP Systems * Supervise irrigation system integration with electrical and control systems. * Oversee installation of pumps, valves, solenoids, controllers, and automation systems for irrigation networks. * Coordinate installation of landscape and outdoor lighting systems. * Ensure proper drainage, stormwater, and water management systems across landscaping sites. * Support integration of smart control and automation systems where applicable. Technical Coordination * Coordinate with consultants, architects, landscape designers, project managers, and site engineers. * Review shop drawings, material submittals, technical specifications, and as-built drawings. * Ensure proper integration of MEP systems with civil, structural, and landscaping works. * Resolve technical issues on site and provide engineering support during all project phases. * Attend project meetings and coordinate approvals with consultants and authorities. Site Supervision & Quality Control * Supervise MEP installation activities on site and monitor subcontractor performance. * Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to approved drawings, project specifications, and industry standards. * Conduct regular site inspections, testing, and quality checks. * Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations, DEWA requirements, and safety standards. * Verify testing and commissioning procedures prior to final handover. Cost Control, Materials & Procurement * Assist in preparation of BOQs, material take-offs, technical comparisons, and cost estimates. * Coordinate procurement of MEP materials, equipment, and subcontractors. * Monitor material usage and support cost control efforts. * Evaluate supplier and subcontractor technical submissions when required. Reporting & Documentation * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. * Maintain records of inspections, testing, approvals, commissioning, and project documentation. * Track project progress, risks, delays, and site issues. * Prepare handover documents, O&M manuals, and as-built documentation. Health & Safety * Enforce safety standards across all MEP site activities. * Ensure safe working practices for electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. * Conduct risk assessments and toolbox talks where required. * Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and UAE regulations. Requirements * Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 5+ years of UAE experience in MEP works for landscaping, swimming pools, and water features. * Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, pumps, filtration systems, irrigation integration, and outdoor electrical systems. * Experience in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting pool and water feature systems. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and BOQs. * Strong coordination, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. * Good understanding of UAE authority regulations, standards, and approvals. * Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is preferred. * UAE Driving License is preferred.
