Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic **Project Manager** to lead and oversee the execution of active construction projects across the UAE. The role is a senior leadership position responsible for managing project operations, commercial performance, engineering coordination, safety compliance, and project delivery through cross-functional department leadership. The successful candidate will report to the Operations Manager and manage key departments including Projects, Commercial, and HSE while coordinating closely with Procurement, Finance, Design, and Corporate Services to ensure successful project execution. **Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & Operations** * Lead the execution and delivery of ongoing construction projects from mobilization through completion and handover. * Manage overall project performance related to cost, schedule, quality, safety, and client satisfaction. * Oversee and direct Project Engineers, Contracts Manager, QHSE Lead, Site Teams, Supervisors, and subcontractors. * Ensure all project activities are executed in accordance with company objectives, contractual obligations, and UAE regulations. * Establish project execution strategies, work programs, manpower planning, and operational targets. **Commercial & Contract Management** * Supervise contract administration, claims management, variations, extension of time submissions, and commercial correspondence. * Coordinate with the Commercial Department to monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts, and profitability. * Review and approve subcontractor progress, valuations, and payment recommendations. * Support procurement and resource planning to ensure timely material and equipment availability. **Technical & Engineering Coordination** * Coordinate with Project Engineers and technical teams to resolve engineering, design, and site execution issues. * Ensure proper review and implementation of drawings, specifications, method statements, and project documentation. * Liaise with consultants, clients, and authorities for approvals, inspections, and technical coordination. * Monitor project quality standards and ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures. **QHSE & Compliance** * Lead project safety and compliance initiatives in coordination with the QHSE Lead. * Ensure implementation of HSE policies, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and site safety standards. * Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and HSE regulations. **Reporting & Stakeholder Management** * Conduct regular project review meetings with department heads and senior management. * Prepare executive-level progress reports covering project status, risks, financial performance, and recovery actions. * Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders. * Identify project risks and implement mitigation and recovery strategies where required. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. * Minimum 10–15 years of experience in the construction industry with at least 5 years in a senior project management role in the UAE/GCC. * Proven experience managing large-scale building, commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects. * Strong leadership experience managing multidisciplinary departments and site teams. * In-depth knowledge of UAE construction practices, authority regulations, contracts, and project execution. * Strong understanding of commercial management, planning, contracts, procurement, and HSE systems. * Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and decision-making skills. * Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office. * PMP certification is an advantage. * UAE driving license preferred.
