Project Manager - Contracting Industry Experience

**Job Title:** Project Manager **Industry:** Contracting / Construction (Civil / Building / MEP) **Location:** Dubai / Abu Dhabi Job Summary We are seeking an experienced **Project Manager** with a strong background in the **contracting/construction industry** to lead and manage construction projects from initiation to successful completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, monitoring, budgeting, resource management, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and client requirements. Key Responsibilities * Plan, organize, and manage construction projects from commencement to handover. * Develop project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans. * Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments. * Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project timelines and milestones. * Manage project costs, prepare budget forecasts, and control project expenditures. * Ensure compliance with contract specifications, local authority regulations, and company standards. * Lead site teams, including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors. * Review and approve project schedules, procurement plans, and material requirements. * Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies. * Conduct regular project meetings and prepare progress reports for senior management. * Ensure compliance with HSE policies, quality standards, and statutory requirements. * Manage variations, claims, and change orders throughout the project lifecycle. * Coordinate project close-out activities, including testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover. Job Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. * Minimum **12-15 years of experience** in the **contracting/construction industry**, including **at least 8 years as a Project Manager**. * Proven experience managing commercial, residential, industrial, or high-rise building projects. * Strong knowledge of project planning, execution, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration. * Excellent understanding of construction methodologies, project management principles, and local authority requirements. * Experience managing consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary project teams. * Proficiency in **MS Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite**. * Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure. * Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
