Project Manager – MEP

Project Leadership & Execution * Lead and manage all MEP works across villa and residential compound projects. * Take full ownership of project delivery from initiation to final handover. * Ensure successful execution of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, HVAC, and ELV systems in line with project requirements. * Monitor project performance to ensure timely completion within budget and quality standards. Planning & Coordination * Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, manpower planning, and resource allocation. * Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams. * Ensure smooth workflow and alignment between all project stakeholders. * Conduct regular coordination meetings to review progress and resolve project issues. Technical Oversight * Ensure all MEP works comply with approved drawings, specifications, project standards, and UAE authority requirements. * Review shop drawings, material submittals, technical submissions, and method statements. * Provide technical guidance and ensure design compliance throughout project execution. * Coordinate with consultants and authorities for approvals and inspections. Site & Team Management * Supervise site engineers, foremen, supervisors, and technicians to ensure efficient site execution. * Monitor daily site activities and resolve technical issues promptly to avoid delays. * Ensure proper coordination between HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, and ELV systems on site. * Drive productivity and maintain high standards of workmanship across all project phases. Cost & Procurement Control * Manage procurement of MEP materials, equipment, and subcontractor services. * Monitor project costs, variations, budgets, and cash flow to ensure financial control. * Review material requirements and support cost optimization and value engineering initiatives. * Evaluate supplier and subcontractor performance where required. Quality, Safety & Compliance * Ensure all project activities comply with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. * Maintain strict adherence to UAE regulations, authority requirements, and project specifications. * Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure high-quality workmanship and compliance. * Enforce company HSE policies and promote safe working practices on site. Progress Monitoring & Reporting * Track project progress and provide regular updates to management and clients. * Identify risks, delays, and technical issues, and implement corrective actions proactively. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project reports. * Maintain clear documentation of project status, milestones, approvals, and variations. Testing, Commissioning & Handover * Oversee testing, commissioning, and validation of all MEP systems. * Ensure complete and accurate handover documentation, O&M manuals, and as-built drawings are submitted. * Coordinate final inspections, authority approvals, and project close-out activities. * Ensure successful project handover to clients within required timelines. Requirements * Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 7–10 years of UAE experience in MEP project management. * Strong background in residential villa and compound projects is preferred. * Excellent knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, and ELV systems. * Strong understanding of UAE authority approvals, regulations, and construction standards. * Proven leadership, team management, and project coordination capabilities. * Strong decision-making, communication, and problem-solving skills. * Experience in budgeting, cost control, procurement, and project scheduling. * Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools is preferred. * UAE Driving License is preferred.
