Website: https://waagnerbiro-bridgeservices.com/ **Job Description** Key Responsibilities * Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documentation. * Review drawings and specifications to identify project requirements and cost implications. * Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis for construction projects. * Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost control processes. * Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare comparative analyses. * Prepare and administer contracts, variations, progress claims, and final accounts. * Monitor project expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities. * Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and contractors. * Assess and certify subcontractor progress payments. * Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and industry standards. * Support procurement activities and material cost evaluations. * Prepare periodic commercial and financial reports for management. **Qualifications** Qualifications & Requirements Education * Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Quantity Surveying **or** * Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering Experience * Minimum **5–7 years** of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction projects. * Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects is preferred. Skills & Competencies * Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and cost management. * Proficiency in quantity surveying and estimation software. * Strong understanding of BOQ preparation and tendering processes. * Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. * Good communication and stakeholder management abilities. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. **Additional Information** **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience in building or infrastructure projects in the UAE * Knowledge of FIDIC and various UAE Authorities contracts * Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment * Experience using AutoCAD, CostX, Planswift, or similar software is a plus.
