Purchase Executive / Accountant

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented **Purchase Executive / Accountant** to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in procurement activities within a trading/import-export environment, along with a strong accounting background. The candidate will be responsible for managing purchasing operations, coordinating with suppliers, monitoring inventory requirements, and supporting accounting and financial functions. Key ResponsibilitiesPurchase & Procurement * Source and negotiate with local and international suppliers. * Prepare and process purchase orders. * Coordinate import and export documentation. * Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of goods. * Compare quotations and obtain the best pricing and terms. * Maintain supplier records and procurement documentation. * Coordinate with warehouse and sales teams regarding stock requirements. Accounting * Record purchase invoices and supplier bills. * Reconcile supplier statements and accounts. * Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions. * Prepare payment schedules and follow up on outstanding balances. * Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation. * Support month-end and year-end closing activities. * Experience using accounting/ERP software is preferred. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. * Minimum **3–5 years of experience** in purchasing/procurement within a trading or import-export company. * Practical accounting experience is mandatory. * Strong knowledge of import/export procedures and shipping documentation. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. * Experience with ERP systems such as Odoo, SAP, Tally, or similar is an advantage. * Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Preferred Qualifications * UAE experience in trading/import-export companies. * Knowledge of customs, freight forwarding, and logistics processes. * Immediate joiners will be preferred.
