With a commitment to excellence, innovation, and sustainable growth, Sentinel Ventures plays a pivotal role in overseeing and guiding its subsidiaries toward achieving their business objectives while fostering synergies across the group. **Job Profile** The role focuses to lead and manage procurement strategy across all operating companies, ensuring cost optimization, supplier reliability, quality compliance, and uninterrupted supply of food and non-food products aligned with business objectives. **Reporting to:** Group Managing Director **Key Responsibilities:** **1. Strategic Procurement Management** * Develop and implement group-wide procurement strategies aligned with business growth plans and market expansion. * Drive centralized procurement governance across all operating companies to ensure consistency and efficiency. * Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement spend across regions. * Standardize procurement policies, processes, and internal controls across all entities. * Contribute to long-term category and sourcing strategies for sustainable growth. **2. Vendor Management & Sourcing** * Identify, evaluate, and onboard global suppliers for Food, Non - food and FMCG product categories. * Build and maintain long-term strategic partnerships with key vendors and manufacturers. * Develop vendor segmentation and manage accordingly. * Continuously evaluate supplier performance with reference to pricing, quality, service levels and compliance. * Ensure supplier compliance with contractual obligations, certifications, and ethical standards. **3. Global Supplier Negotiation & Commercial Excellence** · Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, margins, payment terms, and supply conditions. * Negotiate contracts, MOUs, rebates, volume discounts, and credit terms. * Drive margin improvement through strategic sourcing, consolidation, and value engineering. * Monitor global commodity trends, freight costs, and currency fluctuations to support negotiation strategies. **4. New Product Development (NPD)** * Identify and introduce new products aligned with market trends and customer demand. * Coordinate with suppliers for product development, customization, and private labeling where required. * Conduct feasibility analysis including cost, margins, shelf life, and regulatory requirements. * Support product launches in coordination with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams. **5. Global Supply & Demand Planning** * Align procurement planning with sales forecasts, demand planning, and inventory requirements. * Ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess inventory and working capital impact. * Balance demand and supply across multiple geographies and operating companies. * Monitor lead times, order cycles, and replenishment strategies. **6. Cost Control & Budgeting** * Monitor procurement budgets and ensure adherence * Analyze market trends, commodity pricing, and currency fluctuations * Drive cost optimization without compromising quality **7. Compliance & Quality Assurance** * Ensure procurement practices comply with local and international regulations * Maintain food safety and quality standards (perishable goods) * Work closely with QA/QC teams to ensure product compliance **8. Cross-Functional Coordination** * Collaborate with Sales, Logistics, Finance, and Operations teams * Align procurement planning with demand forecasting and inventory management * Support new product development and market/Category expansion initiatives **9. Risk Management & Business Continuity** * Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies. * Diversify supplier base to reduce dependency and ensure continuity. * Monitor global supply chain trends and proactively manage risks. **10. Team Leadership & Capability Building** * Lead and mentor procurement teams across multiple geographies. * Set KPIs, monitor team performance, and drive accountability. * Build procurement capabilities through training and process improvements. * Foster a culture of efficiency, collaboration, and continuous improvement. **Required Qualifications:** Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in relevant field 8–12+ years in global procurement of FMCG/Food Knowledge of global sourcing and regulations Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
