Purchaser (procurement Engineer) - Civil Construction with UAE experience.

**Number of Positions - 1** **Position : Purchase Manager - Civil Construction** **Roles & Responsibilities :** * Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budget. * Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for materials, tools, and equipment. * Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials to construction sites. * Analyze and compare supplier quotes and proposals to ensure best value procurement. * Ensure all purchased materials meet project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. * Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to determine procurement needs. * Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, supplier performance, and inventory levels. * Monitor and manage inventory to avoid shortages or excess. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate long-term supply contracts. * Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements. * Work closely with accounts and finance departments to ensure timely payment and cost control. * Identify opportunities to reduce procurement costs without compromising quality. **Qualifications & Educational Requirements:** * Proven experience as a Purchase Manager or Procurement Officer in the construction industry. * Strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment. * Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills. * Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, or similar). * Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. * Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations and standards. * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. * Certification in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CPP, CPSM) is a plus. **Preferred Skills :** * Good communication skills. * A multitasker who can handle the nuances of a building construction project. **Preferred :** * Age : Less than 45 yrs * Locally Available * Highrise experience. **Salary & Benefits :** As per current market trend. **Job Type:** Full-time Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person
