PURCHASING ENGINEER

PURCHASING ENGINEER – DUBAI Salary: AED 15,000 – 20,000 per month Location: Dubai, UAE Industry: Construction Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Engineer to join a leading construction company in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have extensive UAE construction procurement experience and be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support project requirements. Key Responsibilities * Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery schedules, and reliability * Prepare, review, and process purchase orders in accordance with project requirements * Negotiate contracts, commercial terms, and pricing with suppliers and subcontractors * Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to understand material requirements * Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to project sites * Review technical specifications, drawings, and BOQs to ensure accurate purchasing * Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and pricing information * Monitor inventory levels and material availability for ongoing projects * Resolve procurement-related issues and supplier performance concerns * Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and project specifications * Identify cost-saving opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives Requirements * Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline * Minimum 10 years of UAE experience in procurement or purchasing within the construction industry * Strong understanding of construction materials, suppliers, and procurement processes * Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications * Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms is an advantage * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively Preferred Qualifications * Previous experience with UAE construction and contracting companies * Strong supplier and vendor network within the UAE market * Immediate joiners preferred Apply Now Email: [email protected] Phone: 0509279689 Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
