QA Test Engineer (Intern)

**About the Role** **Innobayt** is looking for a detail-oriented QA Test Engineer Intern to support software testing activities for web and mobile applications. The intern will gain hands-on experience in manual testing, automation tools, Agile methodologies, and emerging AI-based testing technologies that improve software quality and efficiency. **Key Responsibilities** Test Design & Planning * Analyze requirements and technical documentation * Assist in creating test plans, test cases, and test scenarios * Identify risks, test coverage, and validation approaches Test Execution * Execute manual testing including functional, regression, integration, and system testing * Validate UI/UX consistency across platforms * Ensure overall application quality and usability Defect Management * Log and track defects using Jira or similar tools * Collaborate with developers for issue resolution * Perform regression testing after bug fixes Automation & AI Tools Exposure * Assist in basic automation testing using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright * Gain exposure to AI-powered testing tools for improving test case generation, defect detection, and test optimization * Learn how AI enhances QA productivity and test efficiency Agile Collaboration * Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) * Work closely with cross-functional teams * Provide clear test reports and updates Quality Assurance * Follow QA best practices and testing standards * Support UAT and release validation processes * Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes **Required Qualifications** * Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field * Basic understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Good communication and teamwork abilities * Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment **Preferred Skills** * Exposure to Jira, Postman, SQL databases * Basic understanding of REST APIs * Interest in automation scripting (Python, JavaScript) * Awareness of AI tools in software testing **What You Will Gain** * End-to-end exposure to software testing lifecycle * Hands-on experience with manual, automation, and API testing * Understanding of Agile development practices * Introduction to CI/CD and AI-driven QA tools * Opportunity for full-time conversion based on performance Job Type: Internship Contract length: 3 months Work Location: In person
