QA/QC Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced **QA/QC Engineer** to join our construction company in UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems across ongoing construction projects to ensure compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, UAE regulations, and international standards. The QA/QC Engineer will work closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Technical Teams, and the QHSE Department to ensure high-quality execution and successful project delivery. **Key Responsibilities#** **Quality Assurance & Quality Control** * Implement and maintain project-specific QA/QC plans, procedures, and inspection systems. * Ensure all construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. * Conduct site inspections, material inspections, and work inspections at various project stages. * Prepare and manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, and quality records. * Monitor workmanship and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented for non-conformities. **Documentation & Reporting** * Prepare QA/QC reports, inspection reports, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and site quality records. * Maintain proper documentation for all quality-related activities for audit and compliance purposes. * Ensure timely submission of quality records to consultants and clients for approval. * Track and close NCRs and follow up on corrective actions. **Site Coordination & Technical Support** * Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Engineers, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with quality requirements. * Attend site inspections with consultants and clients and address quality-related observations. * Provide technical guidance to site teams regarding quality standards and best practices. * Ensure proper execution of method statements and approved construction procedures. **Material & Workmanship Quality** * Verify and inspect incoming materials for compliance with approved specifications and submittals. * Coordinate with Procurement and Technical teams for material approvals and compliance checks. * Monitor ongoing construction activities to ensure adherence to quality standards and approved methodologies. **Compliance & Standards** * Ensure compliance with UAE construction regulations, authority requirements, and international quality standards (ISO 9001 preferred). * Support internal and external quality audits. * Promote a strong quality culture across all project sites. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. * Minimum 5–10 years of QA/QC experience in the UAE construction industry. * Strong knowledge of construction quality systems, ITPs, inspections, and testing procedures. * Experience working with main contractors on building, commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects. * Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and UAE authority standards. * Excellent attention to detail, reporting, and documentation skills. * Ability to work under pressure and coordinate with multiple project stakeholders. * Good communication and problem-solving skills.
