The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring financial efficiency and contractual compliance from the initial design stage through to project completion. This role requires collaboration with project managers, engineers, architects, and contractors in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. **Key Responsibilities** * MUST HAVE A USE DRIVING LICENSE * **Cost Management & Estimation:** Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for construction projects. Track project expenditure against budget allocations, identifying areas for cost-saving opportunities and efficiency. * **Documentation & Tendering:** Conduct quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings (both 2D and BIM models) and prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BoQs). Prepare tender documents, contracts, and procurement documentation, managing the tender analysis and evaluation process. * **Contract Administration:** Administer contract terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. Evaluate and negotiate variations (change orders), claims, and extension of time requests with contractors and consultants. * **Valuation & Payments:** Prepare and review interim payment applications and payment certificates for contractors and subcontractors. Measure and value work completed on site through regular site visits and inspections. * **Reporting & Analysis:** Prepare regular financial reports, cash flow statements, and cost-value reconciliations (CVR) for management and stakeholders. * **Risk Management:** Conduct cost analysis and risk assessments to mitigate potential financial risks and advise on cost-saving measures (value engineering). **Required Qualifications and Skills** * **Education:** A Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. * **Experience:** Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, with preference for experience in Dubai or the wider UAE region. * **Professional Certification:** Professional certification from a recognized institution will be preferred. * **Technical Skills:** * Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, PlanSwift, AutoCAD, BIM tools) and Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel skills are essential). * In-depth knowledge of standard forms of contract used in the UAE. * Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. * **Soft Skills:** * Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders. * Ability to work independently and as part of a large team, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively. **Desired Attributes** * Familiarity with local construction regulations and authority approvals in Dubai (e.g., RTA, DM). * An understanding of sustainable construction practices or specific project specializations (e.g., infrastructure, high-rise buildings, interior fit-outs, MEP) Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
