Quantity Surveyor – Fit-Out

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – Fit-Out **Location:** Al Quoz, Dubai, UAE **Employment Type:** Full-Time **Industry:** Interior Fit-Out / Construction Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor – Fit-Out to join our team in Al Quoz, Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in interior fit-out projects, cost estimation, quantity take-off, subcontractor management, and project cost control. The candidate will be responsible for managing project costs from pre-contract to final account stages while ensuring projects are completed within budget and in line with company standards. Key Responsibilities Cost Estimation & Tendering * Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for interior fit-out projects. * Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs, and specifications. * Prepare and analyze quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. * Assist in preparing tender submissions and commercial proposals. Cost Control & Commercial Management * Monitor project budgets, variations, and cost reports. * Prepare interim valuations, progress claims, and final accounts. * Evaluate subcontractor payments and variations. * Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. * Maintain accurate project cost records and documentation. Project Coordination * Coordinate with project managers, designers, procurement teams, and site engineers. * Attend project meetings and provide commercial support. * Review contracts and ensure compliance with project requirements. * Support procurement activities and material cost analysis. Requirements * Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in interior fit-out or construction projects in the UAE. * Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, market rates, and subcontractor pricing. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity surveying software. * Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and BOQs. * Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. * Experience handling commercial and residential fit-out projects is preferred. Preferred Qualifications * UAE/GCC experience in interior fit-out industry. * Knowledge of FIDIC contracts and UAE construction practices. * Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
