Job Title: Radiology Medical AssistantReports to: Radiology SupervisorLocation: Sulaymaniyah, Kurdistan Region, IraqResponsibilities, Duties, and Accountabilities:Answering patient telephone calls and scheduling appointments.Guiding and explaining procedures and services to patientsUpdating and filing patient informationHandling correspondence, book-keeping and billingGreeting and preparing patients for their procedureTaking and translating medical history and performing basic examinationsInstructing patients on medication and special dietsPreparing and administrating medication as directed by a physicianAssisting the physicians during examinationDrawing blood, inserting and removing cannulasRemoving sutures and changing dressingsPreparing referral requests for physicians and radiographers before starting the procedures.Request and preparing all medical requirements from the store and distribute within the department.Inserting and removing Foley catheters for special proceduresSend examination to the radiologist to perform report through tele radiology.Send the results from last day to patient service department.Help patients who have claustrophobia to do MRI.Preparing and giving medication to patients who have exam for special procedures before the exam.Guiding patients before and after the scan.Preparing patients for scanning.Instructing patients about medication and pre-procedural guidelines.How to apply:Email us your CV through: [email protected]: Candidate full name and position is RadiologyMedical AssistantExample: Sara Hassan - Radiology Medical Assistant
