Safety Engineer

**Key Responsibilities:** * Develop and implement health and safety plans on site * Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and company policies * Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments * Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions * Monitor workers to ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) * Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions * Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports * Maintain safety records, permits, and documentation * Coordinate with site engineers and project managers on safety matters * Ensure emergency procedures are in place and followed **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering or Occupational Health & Safety * Relevant safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) * Proven experience in construction or industrial projects * Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards (UAE experience preferred) * Good communication and reporting skills **Skills:** * Risk assessment and hazard identification * Attention to detail * Problem-solving abilities * Strong observation and inspection skills * Leadership and communication * Knowledge of safety documentation and reporting Experience: * gcc: 2 years (Required) Work Location: In person
