Job Summary We are seeking a qualified and motivated HSE Engineer / HSE Specialist to support Health, Safety, and Environmental activities for Oil & Gas and Petrochemical projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, preparing HSE studies and reports, and supporting risk assessment activities including Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) development. Key Responsibilities * Prepare and review Health, Safety, and Environmental Impact Assessment (HSEIA) reports. * Support and participate in Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) development and risk analysis studies. * Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, international standards, and regulatory requirements. * Conduct HSE inspections, audits, and risk assessments. * Support incident investigations and recommend corrective and preventive actions. * Assist project teams in implementing safe work practices and environmental controls. * Prepare HSE documentation, reports, procedures, and presentations. * Participate in project design reviews and provide HSE input during FEED and EPC phases. * Promote HSE awareness and safety culture across project teams. Qualifications & Experience * Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Health, Environmental, Technical, Scientific, Engineering, or related field from an accredited university or equivalent. * Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry. * Minimum 2 years of GCC experience is preferred. * Experience in preparing HSEIA reports and environmental studies. * Fully conversant in QRA development and risk assessment methodologies. * Strong understanding of international HSE standards, regulations, and industry best practices. Required Skills * Knowledge of HSE management systems and environmental regulations. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Experience with risk assessment and hazard identification techniques. * Excellent communication and report-writing skills. * Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. * Proficiency in MS Office and relevant HSE software/tools. Preferred Candidate Profile * NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent HSE certifications are an advantage. * Experience supporting FEED and EPC Oil & Gas projects. * Strong organizational and coordination skills. * Ability to work in multicultural and fast-paced environments.
