Safety Officer – G+4 Building Construction Project (Dubai South)

Job Title: Safety Officer – G+4 Building Construction Project (Dubai South) Job Description We are looking for a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to join our construction team for a G+4 building project in Dubai South. The ideal candidate must have previous experience working on building construction projects in Dubai and be familiar with UAE safety regulations and site safety requirements. Requirements \* Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Safety Officer on building construction projects in Dubai. \* Experience with G+4 or similar building projects is preferred. \* Valid NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory). \* Valid First Aid Certificate. \* Knowledge of UAE construction safety regulations and Dubai Municipality requirements. \* Ability to conduct risk assessments and prepare safety reports. \* Good communication and coordination skills. \* Proficient in English (Arabic is an advantage). \* Must be available to join within 30 days. Key Responsibilities \* Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations on site. \* Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify potential hazards. \* Implement and monitor safety policies, procedures, and permit systems. \* Conduct toolbox talks and safety inductions for workers and subcontractors. \* Prepare and maintain safety documentation, reports, and records. \* Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare corrective action reports. \* Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors regarding safety requirements. \* Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices at all times. \* Monitor high-risk activities such as work at height, lifting operations, excavation works, and hot works. \* Liaise with consultants, authorities, and client representatives on safety matters when required.
