Safety Officer -SARS Card

We are looking for an experienced **Safety Officer with valid SARS certification** to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across construction and fit-out project sites in Dubai/UAE. The ideal candidate should have strong UAE construction safety experience, knowledge of Dubai safety regulations, risk assessment procedures, permit systems, and site safety inspections. The candidate will ensure all site activities are conducted safely and in compliance with company and regulatory requirements. **Key Responsibilities** * Monitor and enforce health and safety standards on project sites. * Conduct daily site safety inspections and hazard identification. * Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations and company safety policies. * Prepare and maintain safety documentation, reports, and records. * Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and safety awareness training. * Monitor PPE usage and safe work practices on site. * Prepare risk assessments, method statements, and emergency procedures. * Coordinate permit-to-work systems and safety approvals. * Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and prepare reports. * Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented. * Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and consultants regarding safety matters. * Monitor lifting operations, work at height, hot works, excavation, and confined space activities. * Maintain fire safety equipment and emergency response readiness. * Ensure compliance during authority inspections and audits. * Support management in achieving zero-accident safety targets. **Required Qualifications** * Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field. * Minimum 3–5 years of UAE construction or fit-out safety experience. * Valid SARS Card Certification. * NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA certification * Strong knowledge of UAE construction safety regulations. * Experience preparing safety reports, risk assessments, and incident reports. * Good communication and coordination skills. * Ability to conduct safety training and toolbox talks. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting. **Preferred Experience** * Experience in construction, MEP, or interior fit-out projects. * Familiarity with Dubai Municipality and Civil Defense safety requirements. * Experience handling authority inspections and audits. * UAE driving license preferred. **Skills Required** * Health & Safety Management * Risk Assessment * Hazard Identification * Incident Investigation * Toolbox Talks & Training * Safety Audits & Inspections * Permit-to-Work System * Emergency Response Planning * Communication & Coordination * Report Preparation Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month Application Question(s): * Do you hold a valid SARS Card or certification? * Do you have NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA certification? * Have you worked on construction, contracting, or interior fit-out projects in UAE? * Are you familiar with UAE HSE regulations and Dubai safety requirements? * Do you have attested degree? * What is your current salary & expected salary?
