**Job Summary:**
The Sales Accountant – Showroom is responsible for managing all financial transactions related to showroom sales of generators, spare parts, services, and rental operations. The role ensures accurate invoicing, collection, reconciliation, and compliance with VAT regulations, while coordinating closely with sales, service, and warehouse teams. This position requires strong accounting knowledge, operational awareness of generator products, and the ability to handle high-volume transactions in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Sales & Invoicing**
* Process daily showroom sales transactions for generators, spare parts, service jobs, and rental contracts
* Prepare and issue tax invoices, receipts, delivery notes, and job/service invoices in line with UAE VAT requirements
* Verify pricing, margins, discounts, and approvals based on company policies
* Ensure proper revenue allocation (equipment sales, parts, service, rental income)
**Cash & Collection Management**
* Handle all forms of payment (cash, POS, bank transfer, cheque)
* Perform daily cash reconciliation and ensure accuracy of collections
* Coordinate timely bank deposits and update accounting records
* Monitor customer credit accounts, outstanding balances, and follow up on receivables
**Accounting & Financial Control**
* Record all sales transactions accurately in the ERP/accounting system
* Reconcile daily showroom sales with system reports and physical collections
* Assist in month-end closing, revenue reporting, and financial analysis
* Prepare sales reports by category (generators, spare parts, services, rentals)
* Support internal and external audits with proper documentation
**Inventory & Operational Coordination**
* Coordinate with warehouse for stock availability and proper documentation of deliveries
* Ensure alignment between invoices, delivery notes, and gate passes
* Track inventory movement for spare parts and generator units linked to sales
* Report discrepancies in stock, pricing, or documentation
**Service & Rental Billing**
* Prepare service invoices based on job cards, technician reports, and parts usage
* Coordinate with service department for accurate billing of maintenance and repairs
* Manage rental billing cycles, including monthly invoicing, extensions, and off-hire calculations
* Ensure proper tracking of rental contracts and payment schedules
**Documentation & Compliance**
* Maintain accurate and organized records of invoices, LPOs, contracts, delivery notes, and receipts
* Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT laws, including proper tax invoicing and documentation
* Support compliance with internal financial controls and company policies
**Customer Interaction**
* Handle customer inquiries related to billing, payments, and account statements
* Provide professional support at the showroom counter
* Resolve discrepancies in coordination with sales and finance teams
* **Address operational issues proactively and escalate when necessaryQUALIFICATIONS:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* 2–5 years of experience in sales accounting, preferably in generator, equipment, or trading industry
* Experience handling multi-revenue streams (product sales, service, rental)
* Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations and invoicing requirements
* Experience in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and sales accounting processes
* Understanding of generator industry operations (equipment, spare parts, service, rental)
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Problem-solving ability and ability to handle transactional pressure
* Preferably have experience in generator or heavy equipment industry but not required
