Sales Engineer

Job Title: Sales Engineer – Doha, Qatar Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and technically capable Sales Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating business opportunities, managing client relationships, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and coordinating with the engineering and production teams to deliver customized metal fabrication solutions. The role requires strong technical understanding of architectural metal works combined with excellent communication and business development skills. Key Responsibilities * Identify and develop new business opportunities within construction, fit-out, hospitality, retail, and infrastructure sectors. * Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, architects, developers, and project managers. * Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents. * Prepare technical and commercial quotations for architectural metal works projects. * Coordinate with design, estimation, production, and project teams to ensure accurate proposals and smooth project execution. * Conduct site visits, client meetings, and project follow-ups. * Negotiate contracts and close sales opportunities. * Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming projects in Qatar. * Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. * Achieve assigned sales targets and business growth objectives. Requirements * Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 2–5 years of sales experience in metal fabrication, steel works, construction, or related industries in Qatar or GCC. * Strong knowledge of architectural decorative metal works, stainless steel fabrication, and construction processes. * Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. * Strong commercial awareness and customer-focused approach. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage. * Valid Qatar Driving License preferred. Preferred Skills * Experience working with consultants, fit-out contractors, and major construction companies in Qatar. * Knowledge of fabrication processes including welding, bending, machining, finishing, and installation. * Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently. * Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities.
