Are you a high-performing sales personnel in the agricultural commodity space? We are seeking a motivated **Sales Executive /Manager** to join our Rice and Sugar trading desk across the MENA region.The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in foodstuff commodity sales—specifically **Rice (Basmati & non-Basmati)** and **Sugar**—combined with deep market intelligence of the GCC and North African markets. You will be responsible for managing high-value client relationships, driving aggressive sales volumes, and scaling our footprint in the region.
**Key Responsibilities**
* **Market Expansion:** Develop and execute strategic sales plans to capture market share across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, and North Africa.
* **Relationship Management:** Build and nurture strong partnerships with importers, distributors, wholesalers, and the food stuff sector.
* **Sales Performance:** Consistently meet and exceed monthly and annual targets for volume, revenue, and profitability.
* **Contract Negotiation:** Lead high-level negotiations regarding pricing, contracts, and payment terms to ensure favorable outcomes.
* **Market Intelligence:** Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring global commodity trends, competitor moves, and supply chain fluctuations.
* **Operations Liaison:** Partner with logistics and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery, stock management, and compliance with local food safety regulations.
**Required Qualifications & Skills**
* **Experience:** 5–8 years of direct sales experience in food commodities (specifically Rice and Sugar) within the MENA region.
* **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Trade, or a related field.
* **Languages:** Fluency in **English** is mandatory. Proficiency in **Arabic or French** is a major advantage.
* **Proven Network:** An established "black book" of contacts in GCC food distribution and retail.
* **Core Competencies:** Exceptional negotiation skills, analytical mindset, and proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.
* **Mobility:** Willingness to travel frequently across the MENA region.
