Job Opportunity: Sales Specialist (Heavy Machinery Industry)Location: BasraIndustry: Heavy Machinery, Trucks, and Agricultural Equipment About the Role:We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Specialist to support our growing sales operations at VARA Machinery. Based in Basra, this role will involve direct customer engagement, lead follow-up, and coordination with product, service, and marketing teams to drive sales of our heavy machinery and truck product lines.This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic sales professional with experience in the automotive or heavy equipment sector, ready to build their career with one of Iraq’s leading equipment providers.Responsibilities:- Engage with potential customers to understand their equipment needs and recommend suitable products- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and ongoing sales opportunities- Prepare quotations, proposals, and assist with contract finalization- Support CRM data entry and maintain customer records- Coordinate with after-sales and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction- Participate in showroom activities, field visits, and promotional events- Maintain knowledge of product specifications, features, and competitive advantages- Report regularly on sales activity and customer feedbackRequirements:* Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field* Minimum 2 years of experience in sales within the automotive, truck, or heavy machinery industry* Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills* Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools* Fluent in Arabic and English (Kurdish is a plus)* Customer-focused mindset and a passion for closing deals* Willingness to travel locally as needed* Ownership of a personal vehicle is preferred.Send your CV to the below email, mentioning in the Subject: Sales Specialist (Heavy Machinery & Trucks) – (Location): [email protected]
