Scaffolder (Bridge Maintenance)

The role involves erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding structures to provide safe access for inspection, repair, and rehabilitation works on bridges and related infrastructure. Key Responsibilities * Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures including towers, platforms, guardrails, and access systems. * Follow approved drawings, method statements, and supervisor instructions. * Ensure scaffolding is stable, properly braced, and safely secured at all times. * Carry out daily checks and report any defects or unsafe conditions. * Assist in loading, unloading, and organizing scaffolding materials. * Support bridge maintenance works such as concrete repair, inspection, and painting by providing safe access. **Qualifications** * 3–5 years of scaffolding experience in construction or infrastructure projects. * Experience in bridge maintenance or highway projects preferred. * Ability to work at heights and in outdoor conditions. * Basic knowledge of scaffold erection, dismantling, and safety practices. * Scaffolding certification (CISRS / OSHA / equivalent) preferred. * Physically fit and able to handle heavy materials. **Additional Information** * UAE experience in infrastructure or bridge projects. * Familiarity with modular and tube-and-fitting scaffolding systems.
