Senior Accountant

We’re looking for an experienced **accountant** to support our accounts operations in Dubai. The role requires strong knowledge of UAE accounting practices, VAT compliance, corporate tax, and hands-on experience with reporting and reconciliations. **Key Responsibilities** * Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers * Prepare and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual reports * Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis * Support VAT filings and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations * Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor reconciliations * Assist with payroll, expense claims, and internal audits * Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required **Qualifications & Skills** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field * Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the UAE * Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting ERP software (e.g., Firstbit, QuickBooks, Zoho, SAP) * Strong understanding of IFRS and UAE VAT laws * Excellent attention to detail and time management * Strong communication and interpersonal skills **Education** * A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field * Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA will be an added advantage Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
