**Financial Accounting & Reporting** * Prepare, review, and maintain accurate general ledger entries and financial records. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS. * Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing activities. * Perform balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and provisions. * Support internal and external audits by providing required schedules and documentation. **VAT & Corporate Tax Compliance (UAE)** * Review and prepare VAT returns in accordance with FTA guidelines. * Ensure proper VAT accounting, documentation, and compliance with UAE VAT laws. * Assist in preparation and filing of UAE Corporate Tax returns and related documentation. * Maintain tax records and support tax assessments or audits. **Analytical & Control Functions** * Conduct variance analysis on financial performance vs. budget and prior periods. * Identify discrepancies, investigate issues, and recommend corrective actions. * Strengthen internal controls and ensure adherence to company accounting policies. * Support management with financial insights and analytical reports. **ERP & Systems** * Work extensively with ERP accounting systems for posting, reporting, and reconciliation. * Assist in system improvements, automation initiatives, and process optimization. **Other Responsibilities** * Coordinate with cross-functional teams for financial data and reporting needs. * Support Accounts Manager in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning. * Mentor junior accounting staff when required. **Qualifications & Requirements** * Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (mandatory). * CA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent professional certification is preferred. * Minimum 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the UAE. **Technical Skills** * Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax regulations. * Proficiency in ERP accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, Odoo, Zoho). * Advanced MS Excel and financial analysis skills. **Soft Skills** * Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. * High attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. * Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset. * Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when required. Job Type: Full-time Perks: Food, transport and Accommodation will be provided by the company.
