Senior AccountantFRB – First Bank of RestaurantsJob Summary FRB is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage and oversee the company’s financial operations across multiple business units including restaurant operations, inventory, warehouse transfers, online sales channels, procurement, and ERP-based accounting systems. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring operational transactions, supporting management reporting, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and financial standards. This role requires strong accounting knowledge, operational awareness, and the ability to work within a fast-paced restaurant and logistics environment. Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Operations * Manage daily accounting operations and financial transactions. * Review and verify sales, purchases, expenses, transfers, and inventory-related entries. * Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. * Maintain accurate ledgers, journals, and financial records. * Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and branch transactions. ERP & System Management * Work closely with the FRB ERP system including: * Accounting * Inventory * Warehouse * Branch Transfers * Procurement * POS Integration * Online Order Systems * Ensure accounting data is accurately reflected across all integrated systems. * Identify operational or accounting discrepancies within the system. * Coordinate with technical and operations teams to resolve financial system issues. Reporting & Analysis * Prepare: * Monthly financial reports * Profit & loss statements * Expense reports * Sales analysis * Inventory valuation reports * Branch performance reports * Analyze financial performance and identify risks or operational inefficiencies. * Support management with financial insights and recommendations. Inventory & Cost Control * Monitor food cost and operational expenses. * Verify inventory movements between warehouse and branches. * Review stock adjustments, wastage, and inventory discrepancies. * Assist in implementing internal controls for inventory management. Compliance & Auditing * Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures. * Assist with internal and external audits. * Maintain proper financial documentation and records. * Ensure VAT and financial reporting compliance according to UAE regulations. RequirementsQualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. * CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is considered an advantage. Experience * Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience. * Experience in: * Restaurant industry * Food & Beverage operations * ERP systems * Inventory accounting * Multi-branch operations * Experience with cloud-based accounting and reporting systems preferred. Technical Skills * Strong understanding of: * Financial accounting * Cost accounting * Inventory management * VAT regulations * Financial reporting * Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. * Experience using ERP systems and financial dashboards. * Ability to analyze operational and financial data accurately.
