**Senior Accountant** **Company:** Nad Alshiba Engineering Consultants **Location:** Dubai, UAE **Job Type:** Full-Time **Experience Required:** 7–9 Years (UAE Experience Mandatory) Job Summary Nad Alshiba Engineering Consultants is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage the full spectrum of accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate must have prior experience working with an Engineering Consultancy firm in the UAE and possess strong knowledge of VAT, Corporate Tax, financial reporting, and end-to-end accounting processes. Mandatory Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Minimum 7–9 years of accounting experience in the UAE. * Mandatory experience with an Engineering Consultancy/Consulting company in the UAE. * Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and filing procedures. * Experience in UAE Corporate Tax compliance and reporting. * Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. * Strong understanding of financial reporting and UAE accounting practices. Key Responsibilities * Manage the complete accounting cycle, including monthly and year-end closing. * Maintain and reconcile General Ledger accounts. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. * Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions. * Prepare client invoices and monitor collections. * Process supplier payments and account reconciliations. * Prepare and file VAT returns and ensure compliance with FTA regulations. * Support Corporate Tax reporting and compliance requirements. * Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring. * Coordinate with auditors and prepare audit-related schedules and reports. * Maintain accurate financial records and internal controls. * Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting activities. Preferred Qualifications * Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CA is an advantage. * Experience in project accounting and consultancy-based invoicing.
