Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee accounting operations for construction projects, ensuring accurate financial reporting and full compliance with accounting standards. Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. * 5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in precast or construction industry.(UAE/GCC) * Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting principles. * Proven experience in managing accounting operations and ensuring financial compliance. * Good understanding of inventory accounting and material costing in construction/manufacturing environment. * Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. * Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills. * Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently. Responsibilities: * Handle day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations. * Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely data entry in the accounting system. * Prepare monthly financial reports and support management reporting requirements. * Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processing with proper documentation and accuracy. * Assist in inventory valuation and material costing in coordination with relevant departments. * Coordinate with project, procurement, and production teams to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting. * Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, accounting standards, and company financial policies. * Support internal and external audits by providing required financial data and documentation. * Monitor expenses and assist in budget control and financial planning activities. * Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data across all accounting functions.
