We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant with strong UAE experience and industry knowledge to manage and oversee end-to-end financial operations. **Role Overview** The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting functions, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, and maintaining financial accuracy across multi-currency transactions. This role requires hands-on expertise in accounting software, cost control, and financial reporting within a fast-paced logistics environment. **Key Responsibilities** * Handle **end-to-end accounting operations**, including: * Petty cash management * Journal entries and general ledger maintenance * Accounts payable and receivable * Bank reconciliations * Prepare and maintain **accurate financial statements** in compliance with UAE regulations and IFRS standards * Conduct **monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes** * Manage and oversee **financial audits** and liaise with external auditors * Generate and analyze **MIS reports** for management decision-making * Monitor and control **operational costs and expenses**, ensuring efficiency across departments * Handle **multi-currency accounting transactions** and foreign exchange considerations * Ensure compliance with **UAE VAT and tax regulations** * Maintain proper documentation and internal controls * Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities * HR and PRO works like company vehicles, visas, Trade license renewals etc to be monitored. **Required Skills & Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA/CPA/ACCA preferred) * Minimum **5+ years of accounting experience**, including: * At least **2+ years in the UAE market** * Experience in **logistics, automotive, or trading industry** is highly preferred * Strong proficiency in: * **Zoho Books is mandatory** * Tally * QuickBooks * Solid understanding of **UAE VAT laws and compliance requirements** * Experience in handling **multi-currency transactions** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * High attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities **Key Competencies** * Financial reporting & analysis * Cost control & expense management * Audit & compliance management * Time management and organizational skills * Strong communication and coordination abilities **Preferred Candidate Profile** * Immediate joiners will be highly preferred * Candidates with proven experience in managing **end-to-end accounting independently** * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment **What We Offer** * Competitive salary package * Opportunity to work in a growing international logistics business * Career growth and professional development **How to Apply:** Interested candidates please whatsapp your CV to +971544066999 & +971563110007 Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
