**Job Title:** Senior Accountant – Contracting Company **Location:** Riyadh, Saudi Arabia **Employment Type:** Full-Time **Industry:** Construction / Contracting Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented **Senior Accountant** to join our contracting company in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations. The candidate should have strong experience in the construction or contracting industry with the ability to handle project accounting, cost control, accounts management, and financial analysis. Key Responsibilities * Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. * Monitor project costing, budgeting, and cost control activities. * Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. * Prepare VAT filings and ensure compliance with financial regulations. * Coordinate with auditors and support audit requirements. * Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate financial records. * Monitor cash flow and support financial planning activities. * Prepare payroll coordination and expense tracking. * Support management with financial analysis and reporting. * Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Requirements * Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. * Minimum 10+ years of accounting experience in a contracting or construction company. * Strong knowledge of project accounting and construction finance. * Experience with ERP/accounting software. * Knowledge of VAT regulations and financial reporting standards. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and organizational abilities. * GCC/Saudi Arabia experience preferred. Preferred Qualifications * Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent are an advantage. * Experience in handling multiple construction projects and project costing.
