Join Takwene to help shape creative success stories. **Role Description** This is a full-time, on-site role for a **Senior Accountant (Digital Transformation)** based in Cairo, Egypt. With a proven track record in the media and technology sectors to lead the establishment and digital transformation of our accounting function. This role is ideal for a self-motivated, self-directed professional who thrives in building processes from the ground up, implementing innovative digital solutions, and driving financial efficiency in fast-paced environments efficiency. **What will you do?** * Design, implement, and digitalize end-to-end accounting processes from scratch, including general ledger setup, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting tailored to media/tech operations (e.g., revenue recognition from subscriptions, ad spends, content licensing). * Lead the digital transformation of accounting systems by selecting, configuring, and integrating modern tools and AI-driven analytics for real-time financial insights. * Develop and maintain scalable financial models, budgets, forecasts, and KPIs specific to media/tech metrics like user acquisition costs, lifetime value, and royalty tracking. * Ensure compliance with tax regulations, and industry-specific standards. * Conduct month-end/year-end closes, reconciliations, and audits independently. * Collaborate cross-functionally with tech, product, and content teams to align accounting with business growth initiatives. **What Shall you have?** * **Bachelor's degree** in Accounting, CMA, or equivalent certification required. * **5+ years of progressive accounting experience**, with at least 3 years in media/entertainment or technology industries such as SaaS, digital agencies. * Demonstrated expertise in holding company structures, with proficiency in multicurrency and multicounty operations. * Proven experience and resilience in change management within dynamic work environments. * Demonstrated expertise in **creating and digitalizing accounting functions from scratch**, including migrations to digital platforms and process automation. * Proven ability to work **independently,** self-motivated with strong initiative to build without heavy oversight—entrepreneurial mindset preferred. * Advanced proficiency in financial software (e.g., Excel/Google Sheets, ERP systems, BI tools. * Experience with tech/media-specific challenges: subscription billing, variable revenue streams, international transactions, and digital asset accounting a plus. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to present complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders. **What we offer?** * Competitive Package. * Medical Insurance. * Opportunity to shape the finance function in a dynamic media/tech innovator and grow in position.
