Senior Accountant

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – DUBAI Salary: AED 15,000 – 20,000 per month Location: Dubai, UAE Industry: Construction Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join a leading construction company in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have extensive UAE accounting experience, including a strong background in the construction industry, and will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting and finance operations while ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and company policies. Key Responsibilities * Manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations * Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with UAE regulations * Maintain general ledger, financial records, and accounting documentation * Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports * Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations * Raise invoices as per contractual payment terms and follow up on collections * Record and reconcile incoming payments accurately * Process monthly payroll and maintain employee leave records * Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and financial planning activities * Review and resolve accounting discrepancies and financial issues * Coordinate with auditors, suppliers, clients, banks, and internal departments * Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements Requirements * Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field * Minimum 10 years of accounting experience in the UAE * Mandatory experience in the construction industry * Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and financial reporting standards * Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications * Experience handling full-cycle accounting independently * Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Preferred Qualifications * Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CA are an advantage * Experience working with construction and contracting companies in the UAE * Immediate joiners preferred Apply Now Email: [email protected] Phone: 0509279689 Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
