Senior Accountant

**Location:** Saudi Arabia **Department:** Finance, Credit and Accounting **Details:** ASBIS is looking for a Senior Accountant who will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with local regulations, and effective financial controls to support business operations. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field * Professional qualification (SOCPA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred * 7+ years of accounting experience, preferably within international distribution, FMCG, or trading environments * Strong knowledge of KSA accounting standards, VAT, Zakat, and statutory requirements * Hands-on experience dealing with ZATCA, audits, and regulatory reporting * Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and strong MS Excel skills * High attention to detail, integrity, and strong organizational skills Functions * Manage full-cycle accounting and month-end/year-end closing in accordance with IFRS and KSA regulations * Prepare financial statements, management reports, and cash flow forecasts * Execute invoice processing, expense control, payroll accounting, VAT, Zakat, and other tax reporting * Ensure compliance with Saudi tax laws and regulations, including ZATCA (VAT, Zakat, Corporate Tax) filings and audits * Oversee AR, AP, inventory accounting, and fixed assets * Maintain strong internal controls and support internal and external audits * Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities * Support compliance with Saudization (Nitaqat) requirements where applicable * Assist in process improvements, automation, and financial system enhancements We offer * Opportunity to work for a financially strong, fast-growing multinational company * Constant interaction with global teams of professionals. * International career opportunities. * Access to continuous professional development: training, certification programs, events, and team buildings. * Attractive remuneration package. * Life events’ gifts, corporate presents, and awards, years of service bonuses. * Special prices for the Company products.
